“Sixth Chinese Zebrafish Principal Investigator Meeting”was held from November 15-17, 2024 in Wuhan, China, hosted by the Institute of Hydrobiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Zebrafish Resource Center of the National Aquatic Germplasm Resource Bank and the Zebrafish Branch of the Chinese Zoological Society. The Chinese Zebrafish Principal Investigator Meeting, held every two years, was the highest level academic conference representing the zebrafish research field in China. The conference brought together more than 300 zebrafish researchers at home and abroad. Their expectations and efforts on the research direction determined the general trend of zebrafish research in our country. The results of this conference were rich and significant. The successful holding of the conference has effectively promoted the exchange and cooperation between zebrafish scientists in China, and has also attracted more attention from all walks of life. This academic conference provided an interactive platform for scientists and scholars to create a good academic exchange atmosphere.
