MED64 is a user-friendly research system for multi-channel in-vitro and extracellular nerve electrophysiology research. The whole system includes a set of hardware equipment, consumable and analysis software, which are necessary for in-vitro electrophysiology research. Users can conduct electrophysiology tests for in-vitro materials, which include brain slices, myocardial biopsy and cultured nerve cell, myocardial cell and stem cell. Tested cell or tissue can be cultured on coating materials of electrodes. Extracellular direct adjacent local electric changes can be measured and electrophysiological signals of many cells can be recorded at the same time. MED64 can stimulate and record different sites at the same time and the recording is non-invasive and harmless to cells. These features make MED64 suitable for long-term record and duplicate record on the same cultured sample and allows monitoring the long-term evolution of response of drug stimulation.
