Bio-Gene Technology attended the 2016 Workshop of exosomes and disease: From Research to Clinical Application
The 2016 Workshop of Exosomes and Disease: From Research to Clinical Application was successfully held at the Shanghai Hope Hotel on 3rd and 4th March, 2016. Since the exosomes were discovered, it got the attention by scientists increasingly. Being important vesicles of human body, exosomes not only carry and transmit the important signaling molecules, forms a new inter-cell communication system, affects the physiological state of the cells and is closely related to the occurrence and progression of the disease, but also possible becomes a natural carrier of drug in clinical treatment.
As one of the workshop sponsor, Bio-Gene showed several advanced research tools for exosomes research during the workshop, which included the Apogee Flow Cytometer, BMG multi-mode microplate reader and PrimaDiag liquid handling system. The latest Apogee Flow Cytometer from UK, A50-Micro, is evaluated as the most best performed Flow Cytometer in detecting microvesicles (<100nm) by European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET). This advanced technology immediately raised customers’ interest in detecting small molecules, like exosomes. In the workshop, many customers stop by Bio-Gene booth and ask further information for the Apogee system. This workshop was an excellent opportunity for Bio-Gene to communicate with researchers and share update technologies and solution for customers’ research.
