Bio-Gene finished a technology lecture in Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) on October 9, 2013, with the topic “The applications of BMG NOVOstar in GRCR and drug screening research”.

The seminar was co-organized by SIMM and Bio-Gene. In this activity, Bio-Gene’s technical engineer, Mr. John Zhang, from Bio-Gene made a wonderful speech about the applications of fluorescence polarization, fluorescence & HTRF detection modes of BMG NOVOstar in GPCR and new drugs screening research. After the speech, the audiences had further discussed with our speaker.

NOVOstar is designed by BMG Labtech from Germany and is the only multi-mode microplate reader with internal liquid transfer system and equipped with 5 detection modes which included: fluorescence, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, luminescence and absorbance. NOVOstar is specially designed for high-throughput cell-based screening.
