microbiology flow application seminar in Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences
Bio-Gene held a technology seminar titled “The application of Apogee Flow Cytometer in particles sample research” in Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMCAS) on December 11th, 2013. This seminar was co-organized by IMCAS and Bio-Gene. In the seminar, Bio-Gene’s application engineer, Daniel Liu, made a wonderful speech to introduce Apogee flow applications in detecting and analyzing the particles, such as archaea, bacteria and virus. The teachers and students were impressed by Apogee flow technology in the seminar and they asked numerous of questions. The seminar was in great success!
Previously, Bio-Gene had worked with IMCAS to establish an Apogee Demo Laboratory in the core facility of Institute of Microbiology. The aim is to provide advanced technology for microbiology research in China.
Apogee Flow Systems Ltd was incorporated in the year 2000 and soon established a strong foundation by providing flow system to environmental microbiology market. Apogee is the only flow cytometer in the market which owns the sensitivity to detect as little as 100nm particles and with 10nm resolution. Apogee can detect small particles which is superior to any conventional flow analyzer in the market. With the excellent detection performance of light scatter, Apogee can make fast analysis and detection on archaea, bacteria and most of virus. Apogee has been widely used in many areas such as grouping, counting and analyzing of particles, microbial cycle analysis and archaea research.
